Last night I ate dinner at Cindys. Its been a while since I've seen her and her family. (since febuary) Caroline and Olivia bounced off the walls and danced to jazzy nursery rhymes on the radio. They've gotten so big and cute! They bought a new house in East Grand Rapids, and it's pretty nice. They have some really nice woodwork, and its pretty spacious. Even though it was a great house, I still had no desire to have a house like that of my own. I'd prefer Jana's apartment....yeah I'm wierd. Anywho, so we ate dinner; grilled chicken marinated in orange juice, topped with pine nuts, some light fluffy cous cous, and steamed asparagus. That was the first real meal I had eaten in almost a month. It felt good to break outta the repetitive camp menu. After dinner, Cindy gave the kids a bath, and I sat and read the paper with her husband. I tried to smash in as many current events as possible, but it didn't work. I know Bush nominated John Rogers as his supreme court justice. Brad and cindy said they liked the guy, and that it was an excellent decision.....they're republicans obvioiusly. Instead of trying to carry a discussion, i just listened, cuz I've been so detached from being at camp, that I know very little on the subject.
So today I'm going down to the Mel Trotter lot in a few to test drive a car. I was suprised to learn that they take a copy of your license, and let you cruise for about an hour. My alterier motive is that I have to stop by the doctors office, the health food store, Meijer, the library and the bank, and I don't want to catch the bus. Besides, I really need practice driving anyway. I havent got a chance to call LaToya, so I may just pull up in her driveway, get her outta bed and tell her to come with me. Pray for my safety!
I talked to Kelli (musician from my high school) last night, and we might get together before I go back on sunday. I've also been talkin to Bradley (friend and fellow Junior orchestra member) online alot, and he says he's been goin through some deep stuff, and he wants to talk to someone about it. I guess that someone is me, so he'll prolly stop by my place later on.
I havent finished my in depth post on ITC quite yet, It'll be up with links to pictures and all that good stuff. Until then, gotta go.
